DAY 04: DEVPRAYAG
- GORGE CAMP- KAUDIYALA
A scenic float down till Kaudiyala. This is the
toughest section, especially for the paddlers as the water flows calmly and there
are few rapids on this section. 05 hrs. Rafting. However, the lack of rapids is
more than made of by the wilderness of the area. Lunch enroute on the beach. The
Ganga flows through a small gorge, where no human being can reach except for the
rafter. One can see wild animals, even the elephants. Dinner and overnight in
tents.
DAY 05: KAUDIYALA - SHIVPURI
After breakfast negotiate
rapids. 4-5 hrs of rafting today. We hit thrilling rapids namely Wall, Three blind
mice, Cross fire, Black money and the Daniels dip. Lunch enroute. In the evening
campfire and cultural activities followed by dinner.
DAY 06: SHIVPURI
- RISHIKESH - DELHI
Camp activities like Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Kayaking,
Dune Jumping, Swimming, trekking and beach volleyball are at disposal for your
use this morning. At approximately 1100 hrs you will depart for your most exciting
day on the river. Negotiating grade 3 and grade 4 rapids like the Roller Coaster
and Golf Course provide for an unequalled and un forgettable experience. Today
you will have plenty of time to indulge in body surfing, cliff jumping and sunbathing
on the rafts while you gently float down towards the pull out point at N.I.M.
beach.

DAY 01: SHIVPURI- SRINAGAR
After lunch at Rafting Camp drive to Srinagar. Arrival at Srinagar.
Srinagar:
This city is the district headquarters of Pauri Garhwal. Srinagar was the capital
of Garhwal before the British took over the governance. Today it is an important
cultural and educational centre. The old city was destroyed in the Gohna Lake
dam-burst which erased all the old relics of the town. Visit temples of Kamleshwar,
Mahadev and Vishnu. Evening games.

DAY 02: SRINAGAR - RUDRAPRAYAG - SRINAGAR
First day of rafting. Drive
to Rudraprayag (05hrs). Raft for 04 hours on grade 02 and 03 rapids to Srinagar
Rudraprayag is located at the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. The
town is famous for its Rudranathji and Chamundi temples.
Dinner and overnight
in tents.

DAY 03: SRINAGAR- GORGE CAMP
After breakfast raft
down for 05 hours from Srinagar to Deoprayag negotiating rapids on the Alaknanda.
Lunch en-route on sandy beach. Deoprayag lies 70kms upstream from Rishikesh. This
dramatic meeting place of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers is actually the point
where the name Alaknanda is first used.
Dinner and overnight in tents.
DAY 04: GORGE CAMP - MARINE DRIVE
This is the toughest section,
specially for the paddlers as the water flows calmly and there are few rapids.
However, the lack of rapids is more than made up for by the wilderness of the
area. The Alaknanda flows through a small gorge where nobody except the rafters
can reach. One can see wild animals including elephants. Today you will hit the
biggest rapid "THE WALL" and end rafting at Marine drive. Drive back
to Shivpuri for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 05: MARINE DRIVE - SHIVPURI
After breakfast raft
down to Shivpuri negotiating exciting rapids like The, Cross fire, Black Money,
Three blind miles, etc.

Of all the rivers, Ganga is the most beautiful river. The mighty Ganges originates from Gaumukh in Garhwal region of the Himalayas. It is a superb river for inflatable rafts. Rafting on its water of wisdom is certainly an unusual experience. To ride these rapids and to come to terms with their strength and wildness is to grow in spirit and to nurture the very stuff that dreams are made of.

WHAT
TO BRING
Sneakers 02 pairs, warm clothes for the camp, light clothes for
rafting (preferably T-shirt and shorts", swimsuit, suntan lotion, torch and
other personal requisites.
FOOD
No adventure can be complete
without great food! Let "HOLIDAY MOODS" arrange a delicious, catered
meal to top off your funfilled day. Your meals will be served outdoors on our
beach camp. We provide excellent and sumptuous food, cooked fresh along the route,
which is also, one of the reasons for the popularity of our tours. Food is cooked
fresh in the camp. The days rafting commences after breakfast, lunch is provided
enroute and dinner in camp.
CAMP SITE
Equipped with spacious
double / single tents, overlooking long clear beaches on Ganga, this is a peaceful
venue for rafters. Day treks, Camp Fire, Beach - Ball and Jungle walks are a few
among the many special attractions.
CAMP NIRVAANA
LOCATION:
Our Rafting camp is situated on banks of Ganga River at Byasi, 30Kms from Rishikesh
on Badrinath highway in Garhwal Himalayas, Uttranchal.
Byasi a small hamlet
characterized by roadside tea shacks and restaurants, which are a common breakfast
stopover for piligrim vehicles going to and fro.
100ft before this there is
a small Jungle trail on the right descending gradually towards the Ganga River.
A 7 to 10 minutes walk transports you through a lush green jungle, hearing chirpy
bird songs, to the campsite, which is bang on the beach.
You transcend to
an altogether different and exotic environment, a beautiful serene and virgin
river beach with clear sands, away from crowd, road and traffic, surrounded by
dense green vegetation on one side and spiritual clear waters of Ganga river on
the other side. Thus the feeling and hence the Camp is named NIRVAANA.
Apart
from White water rafting there is so much to do here. The Camp retreat is a Nature
Lovers paradise with options of hiking on forest trails and along the riverbank.
For adventure lovers there are natural rock faces excellent for Bouldering, Climbing
and Rappelling. Laze around and relax on the sandy beach, soak in Ganga water,
form a sand glass, enjoy Beachvolleyball or Kabaddi match, spend evenings singing
songs around Campfire sitting beneath star studded sky; it's all there for you.
OUR
ECO FRIENDLY CAMP SETUP:
A big private River beach surrounded by Lush
green trees and rocks on one side and holy waters of Ganga on the other side,
its an excellent beach to pitch in rafts. It's an all tented setup with spacious
Cottage shape tents to live in, a separate thatched dining area, a big open parachute
tent to relax and a play area with Volley ball net etc. Kitchen is at a little
distance. In the evening whole campsite is beautifully lighted by Lanterns preserving
an old world charm and to go with the natural surroundings.
There is a separate
area with adequate number of dry pit toilet tents and bathing tents. Hot water
from Hamams is provided for washing and bathing. Please note that as per Forest
department regulations to preserve ecology, no permanent construction is allowed
on the Rafting Camp Beaches.
DAY 1 Arrive at our rafting
camp at Byasi, north of Rishikesh. After lunch, our expert instructor will have
a brief introductory session explaining all about rafting - it's equipment, knowledge,
fears, excitement, do's & don'ts etc. We then set out for a hike to explore
the jungle area next to our campsite. Return to the beach camp by evening for
campfire and dinner. Overnight in tents.

DAY
2 After beach breakfast, enboat to raft down till Shivpuri. Today we hit the
wall, Black Money, Cross fire, and three blind mice rapids. Arrive Shivpuri. Transfer
back to the campsite and beach lunch. Post lunch, enjoy adventure activities like
rappelling, climbing etc. or beach games like beach volleyball, Kabaddi etc. Have
dinner around campfire and overnight in tents.

DAY 3 After breakfast, we enboat the campsite to raft down
to NIM beach near Rishikesh. Today we hit some of the most exciting rapids on
the river e.g. return to sender, roller - coaster, golf course, clubhouse and
many others. Enjoy cliff jump and body surfing in Ganga. Arrive NIM beach near
Rishikesh, and depart with fond memories.

Important note:
1. Prices are quoted based
on tentative itinerary given to you. This is not the final itinerary. Our booking
process starts on receiving full payment in advance from you. We try our best
to maintain the same itinerary given to you initially. However, it is possible
that at the time of booking (and especially during the peak season) the hotel
or the room category mentioned by us is full. In that case we will give you an
alternate hotel or an alternate room (higher category or lower category). Change
in costs, if any, will be intimated to you and balance payable by you or to you
will be paid by you or refunded to you as the case may be.
2. Sometimes, we
may also have to change the itinerary to accommodate the bookings or for other
logistic/operational reasons..
3. Our bookings are subject to the condition
that this clause is acceptable to you.
Tour Cancellation:
All
notice of cancellation must be sent to our New Delhi office in writing. Verbal
cancellations will not be entertained. There is also no refund for services not
utilised. There will be a cancellation fee as under:
30 days prior to Tour
departure date: 50 % cancellation.
29 -20 days: 75 % cancellation
19 days
and below including no show: 100 % cancellation
